Prune Bits are a whole-fruit ingredient made of prunes but processed in a way that makes them soluble in liquids. Add water and prune bits to a pot. Bring to a boil while stirring until the bits have softened. Add the remaining ingredients, lower the heat to medium, and puree until smooth using an immersion blender. Continue to cook, stirring often, until thickened to desired consistency. Cool completely before storing.
